Covid Guidelines:

Unfortunately due to Covid-19 only 30 guests will be allowed to enter the building for the service, however we'd love for anyone else who knew and loved Kim to gather outside the crematorium where she'll take a lap of honour on arrival and there will be a special tribute from the AA. Those present will also be able to listen to the full service via speakers in the car park and we'd love to see you there.

The 30 guests coming inside will be informed in advance, and it will be mandatory for them to wear masks inside the building.

Let's really celebrate Kim's life:
When Kim arrives, rather than stand in silence, please take the opportunity to show how much she means to all of us by clapping and cheering while her car does a lap of honour. Let's send her off with a bang!

Dress code:

As a family we've chosen to wear black/dark formal however smart casual is also welcome. We will also be wearing a touch of purple somewhere as this was Kim's favourite colour and gives a nod to the pancreatic cancer ribbon.

Live Stream:

For those that are unable to make the day, we'll be streaming the service live via an online video link. The link will be posted here 24 hours before the service.

Lastly, We'll also be lighting a candle for Kim during the service, so wherever you are  please light a candle and think of her, maybe she will feel the love wherever she's resting.

No wake due to Covid restrictions:

We would love to hold a wake for Kim however, due to the current restrictions it just isn't possible to do this safely in good conscience and in a way that would honour her properly. Instead, we have decided to host a Celebration of Life next spring ad we hope you will all join us then.

Donations:

So many people have asked about donations or flowers. We appreciate all gestures however we'd rather that any money goes towards Pancreatic Cancer UK or St Margaret's Hospice.

There will also be a collection for St Margaret's Hospice at the funeral ceremony on Friday 16th October.
